Michal Kluvanek's exhibition lovingly shows the people and places that are important to him in his suburb of Thebarton.

“I have always said that the work of a photographer is with the local and particular. I have photographed my neighbours and my neighbourhood with close attention and, I'll say, affection, ever since I moved here more than thirty years ago.

I am honoured to have an exhibition space on West Thebarton Rd, which is well known as a shopping cart graveyard - one of my obsessions.”
